We are looking for individuals with high professional standards,, ability to work as part of a team , who are familiar with and/or willing to learn about the Cree language and culture and willing to personalize learning to meet the needs of all our students. Knowledge of Cree language and culture will be considered an asset.

Elementary Teacher

Ermineskin Elementary School
Ermineskin Elementary School is proud to offer a quality Grade 1 to 6 education to the children of Maskwacis. We serve approximately 477 students.We are in every essence a "Cree Community School”. It is our goal at Ermineskin Elementary School to provide a quality education that is fueled by quality instruction and sound methodology and to ensure Cree culture and language is the foundation to everything we do.

Kindergarten Teacher

Ermineskin Kindergarten Community School

Ermineskin Kindergarten Community School is a Cree School, and is dedicated to delivering quality educational programs aligned with Alberta Education standards and curriculum in a setting in which students acquire the knowledge, skills, and positive attitudes to become responsible, caring citizens. Plains Cree culture, values, and traditions are integrated into this curriculum and into the daily routines of the school. Our programs are designed to meet individual needs and interests in a safe and caring environment.

Our school staff consists of 19 team members who provide quality instruction to 180 Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten students.

Miyo Wahkohtowin Education is looking for supply teachers for the 2017-18 school year. The supply teacher rates are comparable to surrounding school districts.
